One to Watch – Kilmore

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday October 15

Yes Yes Yes has had a flurry of recent winners that have him as the leading second crop sire by wins and at Kilmore on Tuesday he sired a promising three year-old that broke the track record for 1100m.

Fourth and sixth at his first two runs earlier this year behind quality three year-olds Angel Capital and Tropicus, the Anthony and Sam Freedman trained Sociable was having his second run back from a spell in the 1100m maiden.

Sent out favourite with blinkers back on, Sociable was tenacious all the way to the line outpointing stakes-placed filly Express Yo’Self to win by half a length in 1.02.91 seconds with more than three lengths back to the next horse. Express Yo’Self has been placed behind high class Group winner Eneeza and Traffic Warden, who runs in the Everest, so the effort of Sociable is all the more meritorious.

Sociable was a $340,000 Inglis Easter purchase from Kitchin Hills for Freedman Racing/Julian Blaxland and runs for Sheikh Mohammed Obaid al Maktoum.
