One to Watch – Wyong

Tara Madgwick - Sunday September 1

Everest hero Yes Yes Yes is enjoying a flush of success heading into spring and added a new winner to the tally on Sunday when his most expensive filly opened her account at Wyong.

Trained by Chris Waller and ridden by Tyler Schiller, powerhouse chestnut filly Useapin has always shown good ability and was able to translate that into winning form at fourth start and second run back from a spell.

Ridden patiently and allowed to find her feet, Useapin came with a rush between runners and was doing her best work on the line to win the 1000m maiden by three-quarters of a length.

A $420,000 Magic Millions purchase from Attunga Stud for Mulcaster Bloodstock/Chris Waller Racing Pty Ltd, Useapin is the highest priced filly by her sire and was also his most  expensive at the Gold Coast in 2023.

Useapin was a $420,000 M<Agic Millions purchase.

She is the fifth winner from five to race from Pinova, a winning half-sister by Fastnet Rock to Group II winning sire Star Turn from fast and tenacious Group III winner Golden Delicious.

Yes Yes Yes has had four winners since the start of the season of six races which puts him as the equal leading second crop sire by wins with Zousain.

Yes Yes Yes is a value option at Coolmore, click for more info.

Standing at a fee of $19,250 this spring, Yes Yes Yes has already sired five stakes horses and has had several barrier trial winners in Sydney in recent weeks for leading trainers Annabel Neasham/ Rob Archibald, Anthony Cummings and Bjorn Baker so the winning run looks set to continue.
