With 22 entries for the 2018 Magic Millions Tasmanian Yearling Sale (Feb 15), Needs Further is the hot sire in the Apple Isle right now and enjoyed a feature race double at Launceston on Wednesday with Mystic Journey winning the $30,000 Ensign Lodge Alfa 2YO Bowl and Pateena Arena winning the $50,000 Tassie Thousand Guineas.

Needs FurtherBoth horses are graduates of the Magic Millions Tasmanian Yearling Sale, Mystic Journey bought for $11,000 from the Armidale Stud draft and Pateena Arena bought for $22,000 from the same draft a year earlier.

Armidale Stud will offer a full sister to Mystic Journey as Lot 2.
