Media Release - Monday July 22

Entries for the 2025 Inglis Yearling Sales Series are now open.

The Pierro filly from Winx sold for $10million at Inglis Easter.

The 2025 season will follow what was a hugely successful 2024 which included:

*Inglis sold the 3 highest-priced yearlings in Australasia in 2024, including a world record price for a yearling filly when the daughter of Pierro and Winx sold for $10,000,000 at the Easter Yearling Sale

*Inglis yearlings averaged $154,047 across all live sales, or 21.5% more than the average of yearlings sold by Magic Millions

*There were 56 individual vendors who grossed $1,000,000 or more through the Inglis Yearling Sales Series, while there were 53 individual buyers who spent $1,000,000 or more

*Classic, Premier and Easter Sales averaged 59 buyers per 100 horses sold, compared to just 47 buyers per 100 sold at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale

*International spend of $53,805,500 was 41.5% higher than the nearest competitor.

Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch said he and his team were looking forward to working closely with breeders over coming months to help them place their yearlings in the sale that will lead to their best outcome.

“Ultimately we want to see our clients enjoy the best results possible and to work with them to make their dreams come true with Inglis,’’ Hutch said.

“Inglis is the most active auction house in the world in terms of market participation, we know the market better than anyone else because we are engaged with it all day, every day, right throughout the year.
