New SW for Zoustar – Right to Party Wins Listed Creswick

Tara Madgwick - Saturday July 6

It’s been a big week for Widden Stud’s champion sire Zoustar, who clocked up his 200th winner of the season on Friday and he put the icing on the cake with a new stakes-winner when talented filly Right to Party powered home to win the $175,000 Listed VRC Creswick Series Final (1200m) at Flemington on Saturday.

Trained by Anthony and Sam Freedman, Right to Party had been stakes-placed three times previously and put the writing on the wall with a strong last start win at Flemington on June 8.

With that confidence boosting win under her belt, Right to Party kept up the good work and charged to the line for Jye McNeil from back in the field to win by a length running away.

With three wins and five placings from 11 starts and prizemoney topping $311,000, Right to Party is ending the season in a high and there could be more wins in store.
