The 2018 Magic Millions Yearling Sale, kept up its record-breaking pace on Friday with the total of $1 million plus yearlings rising to eight.

James Harron signed the ticket for the $1.9m I Am Invincible half-brother to Group III winner Broadband from the immediate family of Grand Armee. Then towards the end of the session Reg Inglis, Jon Kelly and Paul Frampton paid $1.8 million for Snitzel's full-sister to Group 1 ATC The Galaxy winner and $2.1 million earner Sweet Idea and the Group II MVRC Bill Stutt Stakes winner Showtime. The same connections outlaid $2 million for the sales-topping I Am Invincible colt on Thursday.

The abbreviated session of Saturday will bring Book 1 to a close. It's the session that keeps auctioneers up at nights with hordes of well-lubricated patrons making the walk across the road from the Magic Millions race day.

Champion stallion Snitzel looks particularly strong at the final session. Milburn Creek consigns a half-brother to the champion Starspangledbanner on behalf of Makybe while Widden will offer a beautiful Snitzel filly out of the Group III winning Dubawi mare Intimate Moment.
