Crossley Thoroughbreds Draft for Magic Millions National

Victorian based Crossley Thoroughbreds is a relatively new name in the vendor index at major sales  and is the first bloodstock enterprise for Mitch Pearce, who is proud to offer a quality draft of eight at the Magic Millions National Yearling Sale next week.

The draft has a Victorian flavour with yearlings by Shamus Award, Rubick, Hanseatic, Kermadec and Flying Artie not to mention Toronado (IRE), who is the sire of this stunning chestnut colt from Royal Raine (NZ) to be offered as Lot 1429.

Looks all racehorse and has an atttitude to match, he is a half-brother to multiple Group III placed Decent Raine, who has won nearly $400,000 in prizemoney and is from a winning half-sister to Group III winner Stratofortress.

Lot 1239 Filly Shamus Award x Broadway and Fifth, by Street Sense (USA)

Half-sister to a three time winner, she is by an in form sire and is bred to be an Oaks filly being by Cox Plate winning sire Shamus Award from an unraced daughter of Melbourne Cup winner Jezabeel.

Lot 1361 Filly Capitalist x Lucinda’s Moon (USA), by Malibu Moon

Bred to go fast and early making her a perfect Magic Millions style filly. By prolific sire of winners Capitalist and is a half-sister to three winners from an imported mare with a big Black Type pedigree. Her two year-old full sister sold for $100,000 at Inglis Premier last year.

Lot 1368 Colt Kermadec x Masai Magic, by Equiano (Fr)

By a proven Group I sire in Kermadec, who has the favourite for next week’s Queensland Oaks in Scarlet Oak and is the second foal of a young mare, whose first foal is a winner. From the family of Golden Slipper winner Star Watch.
