$700,000 for Trapeze Artist Filly

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday May 28

A last start winner of the Group III ATC PJ Bell Stakes, quality three year-old Trapeze Artist filly Facile was an appealing entry  for the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale as a breeding and racing proposition and sold for $700,000 on Tuesday.

Originally a $420,000 Inglis Easter purchase from Widden Stud for Ryan & Alexiou Racing, Facile proved a fast and tenacious competitor for the Fung family with multiple stakes placings before her last start Group win at Randwick.

She holds an entry for the Group I Tatts Tiara next month and was tuned up with a recent barrier trial at Rosehill finishing second to dual Group I winner In Secret.

Facile was offered in the Newgate Consignment and purchased by Alma Vale Thoroughbreds.

Bred by Bert Vieira, Facile has a lovely pedigree being the first foal of stakes-winning Pierro mare I Like It Easy, a daughter of stakes-winner Gai’s Choice from the family of Group and stakes-winners Juan Diva, Peron and Atmospherical.

I Like It Easy is married to Trapeze Artist and Facile has three full sisters to follow and enhance the pedigree even further.
