“I wanted to make plenty of use of her. I didn’t want it to turn into a sprint because she stays really well and was dropping in trip,” sad Joe Fanning.

"She travelled well and I always felt I was going to get to the leader. It’s good she’s got another win under her belt for her breeding.”

Bred and raced by Lanwades Stud’s Kirsten Rausing, Madame Ambassador is a third generation homebred for the stud and is the best of seven winners from Group I winning Oasis Dream mare Lady Jame Digby, a half-sister to multiple Group III winner Gateman.

Madame Ambassador is the 23rd stakes-winner for Churchill, who stands at a fee of $19,800 this spring.
