Super One Relocates to Roselee Park in WA

Media Release - Tuesday May 14

Roselee Park has welcomed Super One, the sire of Champion WA 2YO Super Smink, to its roster in Serpentine.

He’s the only son of Champion Australian sire I Am Invincible available to local breeders and will stand for an introductory service fee of $8,800 (inc GST).

Super One will stand at a fee of $8,800.

Super One (pictured) became a name to remember in Perth last year as his record-breaking filly Super Smink completed a clean-sweep in the RL Magic Millions Classic (1200m), G2 Karrakatta Plate (1200m) and G3 WA Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m).

Roselee Park owners Wayne and Tracy Rodwell are standing Super One (I Am Invincible) alongside King’s Troop (Redoute’s Choice) and NZ-bred Super Easy (Darci Brahma).

“He’s a relatively young (11yo) stallion,” Tracy said last week.  “And Super Smink proves he can sire a top-class galloper.  He’s a lovely horse and stamps his stock.  They’re correct, smooth movers with beautiful temperaments.”

While Super Smink was cutting a swathe through Perth juvenile ranks, Super One’s $1million earner Another One captured the LR National Sprint in Canberra and his other black-type gallopers include the Victorian-based gallopers Embeller and Alpha One.

Super One arrives in WA in the midst of a winning month with 7 individual winners in the first 10 days of May.  His 3yo filly Super Zippi launched the super start with a brilliant front-running display in the Hyland Race Colours Maiden (1100m) at Canterbury last Wednesday.

Among the home-based mares booked into Super One is Forbidden Kisses (Bel Esprit).  A black, scopey mare, she was a Doomben and Canterbury winner for Gerald Ryan and is a direct descendant of Irish Broodmare of the Year Park Express (Ahonoora).

The Rodwells stand Super One in association with well-known Hong Kong owner Denys Cheng and All Winners Thoroughbreds.  For bookings or further information contact:  Tracy Rodwell (08) 9525 7715 / 0400 011 691 or trodwell1@bigpond.com
