One to Watch – Sunshine Coast

Tara Madgwick - Monday May 13

It might have been a polytrack meeting at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, but this Sntizel colt could not have won any easier.

Trained by Anthony and Sam Freedman, Fitzpatrick improved on his debut third at Bendigo last month to bolt away and win the 1000m maiden by six and a half lengths.

A $950,000 Magic Millions purchase from Mill Park Stud for the Rosemont Alliance/Suman Hedge Bstock/Julian Blaxland Bstock/Anthony Freedman Racing/ARJB Racing, Fitzpatrick is a three-quarter brother-in-blood to Champion 2YO Filly Away Game, a multiple Group II winner of $3.7million.
