One to Watch – Pakenham

Tara Madgwick - Thursday April 4

An expensive Zoustar filly that wins at her third start by a couple of lengths is always an interesting horse, but when the race is over 2000m and she has a half-sister to be offered at Inglis Easter it becomes a One to Watch!

Trained by Liam Howley and ridden by Winona Costin, Infinity Imperial was sent to Pakenham following a debut eighth and a last start second with a step out to a staying trip proving just to her liking.

Ridden a positive race, she led for home and was strong to the line to score a dominant win.

“She kicked clear and was still full of running at the line and if they got to her she would have kicked again,”  said a delighted Winona Costin.
