Revolutionary Miss Wins G3 Frances Tressady

Tara Madgwick - Saturday February 17

A multiple Group II winner with a couple of G1 placings to her name, Russian Revolution mare Revolutionary Miss is going to be a massive drawcard when she is offered for sale later this year and added another feature win to her CV at Flemington on Saturday when taking out the Group III VRC France Tressady Stakes (1400m) at Flemington.

Trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, Revolutionary Miss was a last start third at the Gold Coast on Magic Millions day so had a fitness edge over several of her key rivals and enjoyed a clever ride from Michael Dee to shoot through along the inside after a cosy run in  transit.

“She’s very genuine and never runs a bad race and it just set up nicely for her with a good barrier draw,” said Peter Snowden.

“There are plenty of options for her in Sydney and Melbourne and I’m pretty sure she’ll head to the June sale and she’ll be a very valuable commodity. She’s been second in a Blue Diamond and a Thousand Guineas, so hopefully a G1 win awaits.”

A $195,000 Magic Millions purchase for Triple Crown Syndications from the Sledmere Stud draft, Revolutionary Miss was bred by China Horse Club and is a half-sister to stakes-winner Equation from stakes-placed Onemorenomore mare Purcentage. She has the overall record of five wins and six placings from 22 starts with prizemoney topping $1.4million.
