French Stakes-winner for Sepoy

Currently the leading Australian third crop sire, Sepoy featured in France overnight where he sired three year-old filly Indian Blessing to win the Listed Prix Petite Etoile at Deauville.

SepoyStakes-placed at Goodwood earlier this year, the Ed Walker trained filly surged clear to win the 1900 metre contest on the polytrack by two lengths.

It was her second win from nine starts and Indian Blessing becomes the seventh stakes-winner for Sepoy, whose other six stakes-winners are also fillies.

A half-sister to stakes-placed Montalbano and Glade, she is from Halling mare Alpen Glen, who comes from the family of Darley's Australian bred Group I winning sires Helmet and Epaulette.

Sepoy has entries for upcoming yearling sales in 2018 with seven for Magic Millions and eight for Inglis Classic.
