Pentire 2YO's Add Interest to Ready to Run

The late Pentire will be represented by two sons and a daughter at New Zealand Bloodstock's Ready to Run Sale.

Time is running out to buy a PentireThey will all be offered on Wednesday with the first of them, Lot 88, a colt out of the Zabeel mare Devant from Diamond Lodge's draft.

Belmont Farm will present Lot 97, a filly from Downloaded, who is a half-sister to the Group Three winner Thriller.

The final Pentire two-year-old is Lot 191, a gelding out of the Australian stakes-performed mare Ky's The Limit. He will be sold by Tom Lane Equine.

Pentire, who died on Monday at the age of 25, was Rich Hill Stud's foundation stallion and sired 16 individual Group One winners from 1200 to 3200m. - NZ Racing Desk
