All Too Hard's Far Too Easy Spectacular in Lough Neagh

Mark Smith - Saturday December 16

It says a lot about Australian racing: a horse can bank over $1,200,000 without stakes next to their name.

This was the record of the hugely talented All Too Hard gelding Far Too Easy, who spectacularly righted that in Saturday’s $200,000 Listed Ascot Green Lough Neagh Stakes (1400m) at Eagle Farm.

With James Orman in the saddle for David McColm, Far Too Easy defeated the $3million earner Eleven Eleven (Fastnet Rock) by a widening four and a half lengths with three-quarters of a length back to Irish Songs (Shamus Award) in a millionaire’s only finish.

Placed in the Ramornie at Grafton, The Kosciusko at Randwick, and the Moreton Cup at his last three starts, Far Too Easy advances his record to eight wins, four seconds, and a third from 19 starts with earnings of  $1,291,675.

Not a bad reward for the $45,000 outlaid by Tresbland Pty Ltd for the son of All Too Hard from the Baramul Stud draft in Book 2 of the 2020 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

A brother to the Singapore Derby, L, Singapore Queen Elizabeth II Cup winner Hard To Think, the Champion 4YO in Singapore in 2021, Far Too Easy is one of four winners from as many to race for the unraced Hussonet mare Mnemonic.

Baramul Stud consigns a brother to Far Too Easy and Hard To Think to the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale (Lot 969).

Far Too Easy is the 24th stakes-winner for Vinery Stud’s 4-time Group 1 winner All Too Hard.
