Second Winner for Spirit of Boom

Eureka Stud's brilliant Group I winning sprinter Spirit of Boom posted his second winner on Friday with a debut victory for Legal Ties at Rockhampton.

Trained on the track, the filly had won two previous trials and was sent out favourite for the 1050 metre maiden.

Spirit of BoomShe led all the way to win by a length and a quarter with another Spirit of Boom youngster in Streamline filling third place.

A $25,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast March Sale purchase for her trainer Lyle Rowe from the Myall Lodge draft, Legal Ties is the fourth winner from Lantern Court (USA), a daughter of US Group I winner Ms Eloise.

By prolific Queensland winner getter Sequalo, Spirit of Boom has made a quick start to his stud career with his first eight runners producing two winners and five place-getters.
