win by a neck.A $100,000 Magic Millions purchase for Laurel Oak Bloodstock from the Southern Cross Breeders draft, Perfect Pitch is a half-sister to stakes-placed Lipizzan, who is also trained by Portelli for similar owners and has won nearly $170,000 in prizemoney.
She is from Absolutely Flying, a half-sister to Group II winner Camporella from stakes-winner Really Flying.
Saluting in the next trial was the Gary Moore trained colt Paquirri, who showed good pace and forged clear to win by half a length.
He was fourth at the early season trials on September 18 and has made good
