First Season Sires Unraced Trial Report

There are no juvenile stakes races in Australia on Saturday, but there have been plenty of trials right around the country this week so a look at our weekly report for unraced triallers by first season sires features a couple of horses set to run in the $160,000 ATC Kirkham Plate at Rosehill.

Microphone will be looking for his first winner on Saturday.

Microphone is the sire of talented filly Miss Judas, who won her only trial at Warwick Farm on October 9 and is prepared by Richard and Will Freedman.

Miss Judas was a $320,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Kia Ora Stud draft for her trainers and is a half-sister to two winners from Group II winning Testa Rossa mare Sistine Angel.

Alabama Express already has a winner on the board and will look for a second with the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained colt Shangri La Express, who was second at his only trial at Randwick on October 6 behind $1.1million Snitzel colt Manos.
