A Rocking Inglis Digital Catalogue – FEATURING HIGH CHAPARRAL RELATION

Media Release - Tuesday October 24
It's a case of quality over quantity for Inglis Digital's October Online Auction , with 61 catalogued lots including 40 that are offered unreserved.

Inglis Digital have welcomed the support of vendors such as: China Horse Club, Baddock Bloodstock, Mick Price, David Payne, Mark Newnham, Chris Munce, Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott, Triple Crown Syndications, Dynamic Syndications, Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock and Michael Moroney's Ballymore Stables.

Rock and SwingAmong the catalogue standouts, is Lot 55 a four-year-old Fastnet Rock stallion consigned by Lime Country Thoroughbreds, who is out of a full sister to High Chaparral and Grade 1 performer Black Bear Island!

The pedigree has also had a recent stakes update as Rock and Swing is a brother-in-blood to last week's French Fastnet Rock stakes-winner Casterton, read about him here.

Rock And Swing was an eye-catching juvenile winner at Warwick Farm over 1200m in March 2016 for James Cummings before he was tipped into the G3 deep end a fortnight later at Rosehill, finishing 5 lengths off Attention and Prized Icon.

As a 3yo, he had form around Jon Snow, Prized Icon and Mongolian Wolf on unsuitable tracks, before injury curtailed his racing career.

Rock And Swing was bought for $NZ 600,000 by top judge Duncan Ramage at the 2015 Karaka Yearling Sales from the Waikato Stud draft.

He's out of imported Sadler's Wells mare Dance On By, a winner herself over 2400m and a daughter of the unraced Kasora (Darshaan), Broodmare of the Year in Great Britain in 2002 and in Ireland in 2003.

Rock and Swing as a yearlingHer son High Chaparral, who died in December 2014 has sired 105 stakes winners to date, including his Coolmore successor So You Think, Arrowfield Stud's Dundeel, Swettemham Stud shuttler Toronado and recent Spring Champion Stakes winner Ace High.

Among the 17 Broodmare's catalogued in the October Online Sale, is Lot 39  Intastellar Magic, offered by Baddock Bloodstock. Recently covered by Your Song, the 6yo daughter of Magic Albert is a half-sister to Devolving and the Waterhouse/Bott trained Stonebrook, now unbeaten in four starts.

The catalogue is further bolstered by a host of tried racehorses from some of the top stables in QLD, NSW and VIC.

The October Sale marks Inglis Digital's sixth Online Auction since the May launch; and those vendors supporting the concept have grown in stature and strength each month.

Lot 39 Intastellar MagicThe selling process is made easier for vendors, as horses can remain in work or on their current farms while offered for sale. Plus, given Inglis is an Auction House, vendors are guaranteed payment and transfer of ownership forms can be completed immediately with the Auctioneer stamp.

The October Online catalogue is the highest in terms of quality to date – the final countdown for bidding begins at 5pm on Wednesday, October 25.

Visit www.inglisidital.com to check out the catalogue and register to bid.

The Online Auctions are held at the end of each month so if you're in the market to sell – there's always November!
