Yendall will partner the Tony McEvoy-trained three-year-old Royal Symphony in the weight-for-age feature.

Royal Symphony was the luckless performer in last Saturday's Caulfield Guineas, Held up at a vital stage of the race before charging home to finish fourth.

Royal Symphony is a $19 chance in the Cox Plate behind ruling favourite Winx at $1.20 but Bet365 are offering a Winx out market and Royal Symphony is the $4.50 favourite.

Last year Yendall had his first taste of a Cox Plate ride when guiding the three-year-old filly Yankee Rose into third place.

He was aboard that filly when he won his first Group I race in the Spring Champion Stakes last year before claiming another feature race success three weeks later when aboard I Am A Star in the Myer Classic.

Yendall won his third Group I in recent weeks on Santa Ana Lane in the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes.
