One to Watch – Hawkesbury

Tara Madgwick - Sunday July 9

Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott saddled a short priced favourite at Hawkesbury on Sunday and the three year-old filly by So You Think duly returned an impressive winner.

Named Howgoodareyou, she showed nice ability at the trials and delivered on potential with a stylish two and a half length win in the 1300m maiden for Adam Hyeroniums leaving many punters wondering exactly how good she might be!

A $300,000 Inglis Easter purchase for G Waterhouse / A Bott / Kestrel Thoroughbreds from the Kitchwin Hills draft, Howgoodareyou has a big ownership group headed by Bangaloe Stud’s Julia Ritchie.

Howgoodareyou was a $300,000 Inglis Easter purchase.

She is the first winner for Group III winning Anacheeva mare Ana Royale, who traces back to Group II winning blue hen Twiglet, the dam of Group I winners Fairy King Prawn, Easy Rocking and the dam of dual Group I winner Cosmic Endeavour.
