Three Stakes races headline strong Saturday card at Randwick

The spring carnival in Sydney officially closes on Saturday with three black-type contests featured at Randwick and Racenet has the fields and form online.

The Group III Nivison (1200m) headlines the program with the Listed Brian Crowley Stakes (1200m) and Listed City Tattersalls Club Cup (2400m) the major support races.

The Nivison has attracted a field of 12 runners including proven Group I performers Heavens Above, Dixie Blossoms and Daysee Doom. The field also includes smart mares Nancy, Zestful, Diddums, Spright, Samantha and the promising White Moss.

Eight will run in the Brian Crowley Stakes which is headed up by Single Bullet and Chauffeur while the inform Alward tackles proven stakes performers Destiny's Kiss, Havana Cooler and Admiral Jello in the City Tattersalls Club Cup.

The nine-race program starts at 12.30pm (AEST). The track was rated a good (4) at acceptance time while the rail will be in the nine-metre position.

The Bureau of Meteorology forecast for Sydney for the rest of the week is:

Wednesday: Partly cloudy. Max 24.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. Max 26.
Friday: Partly cloudy (90% chance of 10-20mm of rain). Max 21.
Saturday: Cloudy. Max 20.
