William Pike is on standby to ride Lim's Cruiser in the Raffles Cup in Singapore on Sunday.

Pike is on standby to replace Glen Boss aboard Lim's Cruiser in the Group I Raffles Cup (1800m).

Boss is appealing a 10 meeting ban he incurred for careless riding aboard Riven Light in the Gorup I Ladbrokes Caulfield Stakes last Saturday.

The appeal will be heard on Wednesday at 10am.

Meanwhile, Stewart has been booked to ride Gold Faith in the Group III El Dorado Classic (2200m) for trainer David Hill.

Stewart and Hill tasted plenty of success when the jockey was based in Asia.

"Ronnie is a nice lad and has ridden many winners for me when he rode here. He won the Juvenile Championship on Onceuponatime (2007) for me, among others," Hill told the Singapore Turf Club.

"We knew Gold Faith would get in at a low handicap in the El Dorado. When the owner suggested Ronnie Stewart to me, I told him it was a good choice.

"Ronnie knows the track, and is a strong lightweight rider. It's the El Dorado Classic, he won three Singapore Gold Cups with that horse."
