101 2YO Winners for Zebedee

Media Release - Monday July 31
As highlighted by the Breednet article 'King of the Kids – The Hottest Sire Line in the World' last week, Invincible Spirit has taken the world by storm as a sire, and now as a sire of sires with Cornerstone Stud delighted to be standing his stunning grey son Zebedee (GB).

ZebedeeZebedee has carried on the tradition as a sire of precocious 2yo winners, posting his 101st individual 2yo winner last weekend from just three and half crops to race.

Starting out his first season at stud in 2014 with 32 individual 2yo winners, Zebedee was quickly crowned the champion first season stallion in Europe.

His sophomore year was almost just as successful with 29 individual 2yo winners and finished the season being named champion 2nd season stallion in Europe.

The third season can always be a bit more challenging for a young stallion, however Zebedee still managed to sire 23 individual 2yo winners in Europe.

With half the season gone this year, Zebedee has already managed to sire 17 individual 2yo winners. This keeps him on track to break the 30 mark again.

As a reference Zebedee's 2yo stats are comparable to that of I Am Invincible.

From 279 2yo runners to date Zebedee has 101 winners and a further 61 placegetters for 140 wins and 7 stakes horses. I Am Invincible has 206 2yo runners for 82 winners, 28 placegetters for 116 wins and 11 stakes horses.

With Zebedee's first Australian crop averaging $52,500 as weanlings, and being well received across the board, the Invincible Spirit line looks to be flourishing in Australia.
