Next month's NZB Ready to run Sale at Karaka will showcase the first two-year-old crops of 14 exciting freshman sires.

Sires with their eldest Australasian crop in the Sale include Shamexpress, Jakkalberry, Dundeel, Camelot, Albrecht, Dawn Approach, Declaration of War, Epaulette, Eurozone, Ferlax, Shamus Award, Sizzling, The Factor, and Unencumbered.

Shamexpress(O'Reilly x Volkrose, by Volksraad)

ShamexpressShamexpress was an exceptional sprinter, winning the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap and placing in the VRC Sprint Classic, Lightning Stakes, Coolmore Stud Stakes, and the Schweppes Handicap. On retiring to stud he was the fastest son of his champion sire and, like O'Reilly, beat the older horses over 1200m at Group 1 when only three. Standing at Windsor Park.

A multiple Group winner and performer, he won races in Great Britain, America, Italy, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as running third in the Group 1 Melbourne Cup. Standing at Novara Park.
