Telemon Stud Appoint Mark McCann to Senior Role

Media Release - Tuesday October 25

Telemon Stud have recruited Mark McCann to lead the emerging Queensland Farm. McCann will commence his role as Stud Manager in time to prepare Telemon’s Magic Millions and Inglis Classic yearling drafts.

“Mark’s appointment comes off the back of significant investment in both our infrastructure and bloodstock over the past few years,” said Telemon owner Dan Fletcher.

“We’re delighted to secure someone of Mark’s standing in the industry and we know Mark and his wife Sarah will be integral to us as we pursue our ambitions”.

McCann has held senior roles in high profile Hunter Valley farms as well as prominent Queensland farms. “Sarah and I are excited by the opportunities at Telemon,” he said.

“There are some exciting yearlings heading to the sales next year and with the quality coming through I believe it is only the beginning. The farm itself is recognised as producing many top class horses and we look forward to building on that record.”

Telemon is home to four stallions including Golden Slipper producing sire Sidestep.
