Mitchell Freedman appeared before the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Wednesday morning to answer one count of breaching AR 175(o)(iv).

Stewards alleged Freedman failed to provide Mywordsaidthebird with "proper and sufficient nutrition" during a period stretching from May 5 to November 8 last year.

Freedman, represented by barrister Damian Sheales, pleaded not guilty to the charge before the RAD Board panel, headed by Judge John Bowman, dismissed the charge after failing to find stewards proved their case to the required standard.

Mywordsaidthebird did not race between his unplaced effort at Warrnambool on May 4, 2016 and a seventh of nine at Bendigo on February 28 this year where he resumed for new trainers Michael Cornish and Donna Gaskin.

Mywordsaidthebird won his last outing at Katherine on August 12 for another trainer, Neil Dyer.
