Undefeated Giga Kick Enters Everest Mix

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday October 4

James Harron has today confirmed his Everest slot will be filled by undefeated three year old colt Giga Kick.

Trained by Clayton Douglas, Giga Kick has won four from four most recently taking out the Group III MRC Vain Stakes and last Saturday he scored a courageous win in the Group II VRC Danehill Stakes (1200m).

Craig Williams has been aboard the Jonathan Munz bred and owned son of Scissor Kick in his two stakes wins and is confident he’s a horse on the up.

"Craig is very bullish about Giga Kick and believes he can be competitive in The Everest,'' James Harron told Ray Thomas.

"He has already taken The Everest ride on the horse even though he could have stayed in Melbourne to ride in the Caulfield Cup.

"I've also done business with Jonathon over the years and we raced (multiple Group 1 winner) King's Legacy together. I know Jonathon also has a lot of belief in Giga Kick so it's a good fit for everyone.''
