“He’s a nice big strong colt that is still learning,” said winning rider Damien Oliver.

“He might make a better gelding, but certainly going to continue to improve.”

A $120,000 Magic Millions purchase for Malua Bloodstock from the Sledmere Stud draft, He’ll Rip was bred by China Horse Club and is the second winner from Clear Ripples, a winning half-sister by Fastnet Rock to the dam of Group winners Man From Uncle and Head of State.

Hellbent also added a new stakes horse to his tally with two year-old filly Divine Glory producing a pleasing debut run for third in the Group III ATC Gimcrack Stakes behind Diamond Jubilee and Perfect Proposal.

A $140,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Yarraman Park draft for Snowden Racing / William Johnson Bloodstock (FBAA), the Peter and Paul Snowden trained filly is from Never Doubt Me, an 11 time winner by Not a Single Doubt from the family of New Zealand dual Group I winner Costume.

He’ll Rip is the eighth winner this season for Hellbent, who is fully booked this spring.
