NZB Ready to Run Sale Catalogue Exudes Excellence

Media Release - Tuesday September 13

A range of factors can influence buyers as they select their shortlist for New Zealand Bloodstock’s Ready to Run Sale of Two-Year-Olds. Some might be drawn to certain vendors and their well-earned international reputations, while others will run their expert eye over the Breeze Ups. But for many, you can’t beat a quality pedigree, and the catalogue for the 2022 Ready to Run Sale has plenty to satisfy them too.

Over two days of selling action at Karaka on 16 and 17 November, buyers will have the opportunity to bid on 37 siblings to stakes winners, 28 sons or daughters of stakes-winning dams, and countless other two-year-olds with impeccable pedigree credentials.

From start to finish, the pages of the catalogue are stacked with pedigree points of interest, including:

  • Lot 54, a colt from the first southern hemisphere crop of exciting stallion U S Navy Flag. This colt is a half-brother to Arrogant (NZ) (Ocean Park), who ran second to The Autumn Sun (Redoute’s Choice) in a head-bobbing photo finish to the Group One Rosehill Guineas (2000m).
