Keeneland September Yearling Sale Underway

The first day of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale is underway in Kentucky with six lots among the first 100 offered selling for $US1million or more.

Setting the pace is Lot 97, a colt by Quality Road from True Feelings that sold for $2.5million when knocked down to Talla Racing, Woodford Racing, West Point LEB, Agt. He is a half-brother to stakes-winner Feeling Mischief from a half-sister to Champion 3YO Filly Wait a While.

The first million dollar yearling of Keeneland September 2022, Lot 8 Quality Road filly from Princess Silvia.

Other yearlings to sell for $1million or more are:

Lot 87 Filly Gun Runner x Tip at Tapit $1.5million

Lot 52 Filly Into Mischief x Song of Spring $1.25 million

Lot 8 Filly Quality Road x Princess Silvia $1.2million

Lot 73 Colt City of Light x Tea Time $1million

Lot 60 was an interesting colt being a half-brother to undefeated Triple Crown winner and exciting young sire Justify as well Group III winner The Lieutenant, He was bought by Japanese buyer Hideyuki More.
