Four Length Winner for Harry Angel

Tara Madgwick - Monday July 25

The Acclamation sireline tasted Group I success over the weekend with King George VI and Queen Elizabeth stakes winner Pyledriver and Australian breeders have access to it this spring via Harry Angel (IRE), who posted a four length winner overnight.

Al Dasim was a short priced favourite for the five furlong juvenile maiden at Windsor and bolted away to win as he pleased after finishing second at his two previous runs following a debut fifth back in April.

Trained by Kevin Phillippart De Foy, Al Dasim was bought for 50,000 guineas at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale last year.

Al Dasim is a half-brother to stakes-winning sprinter Tashweeq and is the seventh winner from Dance Hall Girl, a winning three-quarter sister by Dansili to stakes-winner Solar Deity.

Al Dasim is the seventh first crop winner for Darley shuttler Harry Angel, who is slated to return to the Hunter Valley this spring at a fee of $16,500.

The Champion European 3YO Sprinter of his generation Harry Angel has 39 entries for the 2023 Golden Slipper and his top selling yearlings are listed below.
