New Stakes-Winner for Churchill

Tara Madgwick - Friday July 22

The Listed Her Majesty’s Plate (1m6f) at Down Royal in Ireland was won by exciting young stayer Perotan, who scored a dominant win over older rivals as favourite.

Trained by Aidan O’Brien, the three year-old filly scored by two and three-quarter lengths taking her overall record to two wins in as many starts.

Bred by Barronstown Stud and raced by the Coolmore partners, Perotan has a big pedigree being a sibling to I winner Matterhorn, Group II winner Bangkok and stakes-winners Tactic and Yaazy.
