Yulong Purchase German 1000 Guineas Winner for €1.2million

Yulong have been very active in the bloodstock market this week purchasing blue hen Baggy Green and her yearling daughter (full sister to Tofane) for a combined $NZ 2.21 million from the Valachi Downs Dispersal and they were not to be beaten at the Arqana Summer Sale overnight purchasing German 1000 Guineas winner Txope.

BBA Ireland's Michael Donohoe and Yulong International bid €1.2millionto secure the three year-old filly by Siyouni, who has the overall record of three wins and six placings from 12 starts with her best win in the Group II Düsseldorf German One Thousand Guineas.

Txope will race on for the immediate future with the Del Mar Oaks in North America mentioned as a possible goal and in the long term she will be a great addition to the ever growing Yulong broodmare band.

Txope is the best of two winners from stakes-placed Power of the Moon, a half-sister  to Group III winner Zinziberine.
