Alizee stormed down the centre of the track from the tail of the field to claim her first Group I victory in the Flight Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.

The James Cummings-trained filly was victorious in the traditional lead-up, the Group II Tea Rose Stakes, and it was the same trifecta two weeks later in the $500,000 event, with Champagne Cuddles ($3.80) fighting on gamely 2-1/4 lengths away in second, with a further 2-1/4 lengths back to Cellargirl ($10) in third.

Once again, Racenet was on hand to get the feedback from every rider after the race.

1st	ALIZEE	Glyn Schofield	This filly has just given me so much confidence, especially from her last start win. She's got a turn of speed second to none at the end of her race. We had a chat before the race and our plan was definitely to be negative early on, if there was any doubts about the mile we were going to make sure she was switched off and relaxed, because once you let her go you saw what she can do. James [Cummings], Darren [Beadman] and the team have done a fantastic job switching her mind off and getting her to relax and getting her to the races in a frame of mind where she is concentrating on what she's doing and not her surroundings. That's the key to her, her mannerisms in the races. Hard pressed to suggest she won't get further, she was really electric coming from the back of the field, I'm pretty happy she's won over a mile.
2nd	CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES	Jason Collett	Perfect split through but the winner was dominant.
3rd	CELLARGIRL	Michael Walker	She actually didn't step away but I ended up with a really good run. I thought I was half a chance at the top of the straight. I reckon she just ran out of puff and is looking for a break. I think Magic Millions she is going to be set for but really nice run.
4th	ONE MORE HONEY	Blake Shinn	Good run. Just couldn't quicken at the vital stage but hit the line well. Crying out for 2000m.
5th	SMOOTH LANDING	Damian Lane	She ran well. She'll be better for further.
6th	LUVALUVA (NZ)	Rachel King (a0)	Really good run stepping up to Group 1 company and she'll go on with it from today.
7th	I AM EXCITED	Kerrin McEvoy	We settled back, got into a nice enough rhythm. Moved into it at the 250-300m mark and her run just levelled out so I'd say she'd come back in trip for her future assignments.
8th	SWEET DEAL	Hugh Bowman	Little bit far for her but outclassed anyway.
9th	PANDEMONIUM	Joao Moreira	She was a little bit tense before she got into the gate. She didn't jump very well but she still had a beautiful run through, she was just unable to finish off the race.
10th	LEGAL GIRL	Corey Brown	She was really disappointing. She didn't have a lot of luck, she was three wide back near the tail but even from the 900m she got cover and she just wasn't the horse she was last time out.
11th	COLLEGE ROMANCE	Tim Clark	She ran according to her price.
