Hitotsu Sidelined Through Injury

Triple Group I winning Maurice (Jpn) colt Hitotusu has been ruled out of any spring campaign with the Maher Eustace stable issuing a statement on Monday advising the glamour colt has sustained a suspensory injury.
 



Winner of the Group I VRC Victoria Derby, ATC Australian Derby and VRC Australian Guineas, Hitotsu looked to have a myriad of options and not just confined to Australia, but his future is now up in the air.

A successful rehabilitation would see Hitotsu possibly back for a 2023 autumn campaign, but as a valuable son of Maurice from a daughter of Redoute’s Choice, a stud career would also be a consideration.
