Your Song Relocating to Gooree Stud

Media Release - Wednesday May 4

Born and bred at Gooree Stud, Group I winning Fastnet Rock stallion Your Song will return to his birthplace to continue his stud career at the historic property this spring.

As part of Gooree Park’s commercialization, the stud is proud to welcome home one of their favourite sons, who has made his mark both on the racetrack and in the breeding barn.

Your Song is back where it all began at Gooree Park.

Your Song was trained throughout his career by Anthony Cummings, but returned regularly to Gooree Park for spelling and pre-training with victory in the Group I BTC Cup (1200m) his crowning achievement.

A well proven source of winners and stakes-winners during his years at Widden Stud, Your Song has sired 177 winners of over $22million in prizemoney including 14 stakes horses headed by Group II winner Brave Song and Group III winners Gem Song and Miss Exfactor as well as Frankie Pinot, winner of the Listed Wangoom Handicap on Wednesday at Warrnambool.
