After a strong year of sales and racetrack results Eureka Stud is proud to again stand firmly behind its two stallions Spirit of Boom and Encryption.

Spirit of Boom stands at $33,000 inc. GST

Spirit of Boom continues to go from strength to strength on the racetrack and now features prominently in the Australian Top 10 sires by winners and Top 20 by earnings. His first crop bred from better quality mares are now 2yo’s and has already produced multiple stakes winners while sitting second on the Australian 2yo sires list by winners with 12 from only 29 runners.

With four strong books of quality mares now covered and coming through, the momentum looks set to continue growing. Spirit of Boom’s first crop alone off a $11,000 fee has now thrown Group 1 winning stallion JONKER, nine individual stakes winners and three individual million dollar earners at 83% winners to runners.

In the sales ring this year Spirit of Boom’s yearlings have averaged over $200,000 at January Book One and over $120,000 at all yearling sales so far for 72 sold. With two yearlings selling for $440,000 he has proven that he gets a consistent sales type which run on for a high conversion of stakes winners and has no bias between colts and fillies.

Spirit of Boom will stand in 2022 again at $33,000 including GST, an extremely attractive price amongst his proven peers and he is filling fast to cover another full book.

Encryption the son of Champions Lonhro and Guelph will stand his fourth stud season in 2022 after the incredible sales results of his first crop.  With his yearlings at Magic Millions January selling for an average of 15 times service fee it is evident that Encryption has stamped his progeny with his qualities. His progeny are physically forward and precocious like himself and have been purchased by leading stables around the country which will see his first runners step out next season.

Encryption stands at $13,200

Encryption has both the pedigree and the performance to succeed at stud. He was a pre-Christmas two-year old placing in two Melbourne Spring Carnival 2yo stakes races before going on the win the Golden Slipper lead up Group 3 Black Opal Stakes. He then returned as a three-year-old to win the Group 2 Danehill Stakes sprint at Flemington and place second to Booker in the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate. His exceptional pedigree provides breeders access to one of the best families in the studbook which includes the likes of BIVOUAC and CANNY LAD.

After covering books of 120 mares of more in each of his first three seasons, Encryption will again stand at $13,200 inc GST with payment on live foal 2022.
