Lauren O’Callaghan joins Randwick Bloodstock Agency

Media Release - Thursday April 28

Randwick Bloodstock Agency are delighted to announce the appointment of Lauren O’Callaghan as their new Bloodstock Sales Assistant. Lauren will be working alongside Brett and Rachael Howard from their lower Hunter Valley farm in Mount Vincent.

Originally from Victoria, Lauren grew up on a cattle farm in the northeast. She was riding and competing on horses from an early age. At the completion of her schooling, she was keen to continue her passion through a career in the thoroughbred industry. Lauren now has over ten years’ experience within the industry, the last five years employed at Coolmore Australia, where her key role was as Dry Mare Supervisor. During this time Lauren was fortunate to work with some of the most valuable bloodstock in the country.

Lauren O'Callaghan is joining the Randwick Bloodstock team with Brett and Rachael Howard.

“Lauren has had a tremendous grounding especially via her time at Coolmore, where I spent seven years myself,” commented Brett.

“Tim Brown from Magic Millions suggested to Lauren to contact me and ask about the best way to get into a bloodstock operation. We were not actively looking to put a new person on in our business, however, when I read Lauren’s CV, I thought I want this person to work for us. An interview was arranged and as they say, the rest in history.”

“Working closely with Brett and Rachael is going to be an amazing experience. I am very much looking forward to the future and being able to broaden my knowledge on everything bloodstock, as well as being able to help RBA’s existing clientele with all their bloodstock needs,” enthused Lauren.
