The Torryburn Stud brand has been carried to victory by some star three year-olds this season in Home Affairs, Espiona and exciting up and comer Straight Arron, their achievements reflected in the sale ring with the Cornish family owned farm finishing Inglis Easter as leading vendor by average.

They sold all six yearlings offered at an average $675,000 and median of $750,000, sums well above the overall sale average of $407,500 and median of $300,000.

Torryburn will go home with an empty float after selling all of their yearlings at Inglis Easter and have had 100% clearance at all sales this year.

$1million I Am Invincible colt from The Pinnacle.

Highlight of the Inglis Easter draft was the first foal of Torryburn Stud homebred Group III winner The Pinnacle, a glorious I Am Invincible colt that made $1million when bought by TFI / Kia Ora Stud Pty Limited.

The Pinnacle is a half-sister to Group III winner Under the Eiffel and stakes-winner Tower of Lonhro by So You Think, who has started his career as a broodmare sire in explosive fashion as sire of the dam of Golden Slipper winner Fireburn.

The Pinnacle has made a smooth transition from the racetrack to the broodmare paddock and has a Pierro filly to follow and is no in foal again to I Am Invincible.

$750,000 the Autumn Sun colt from Axiomatic.

Torryburn also sold the highest priced yearling by first season sire The Autumn Sun at Inglis Easter with the colt from Axiomatic selling to John O’Shea for $750,000.

They also sold the highest priced Deep Field at the sale with the colt from The Soloist snapped up by the Hong Kong Jockey Club for $750,000.

He is the first foal of Torryburn homebred The Soloist, a winning half-sister to Champion Hong Kong Sprinter Hot King Prawn, so was an obvious pick for them and will no doubt be a big ticket item when re-sold at their international sale.

Torryburn also sold siblings to Home Affairs and Straight Arron.

The half-brother by Dundeel to Home Affairs made $540,000 to the bid of Phil Cataldo Bloodstock, while the half-sister by Zoustar to Straight Arron was bought by Liam Howley Racing / Andrew Williams Bloodstock (FBAA) / Bevan Smith Bloodstock for $900,000.
