Tragic Passing of Heath Harris

Tara Madgwick - Monday April 4

The equestrian world is in mourning following the sudden death of renowned horseman Heath Harris with his wife Krissy Harris issuing a statement today.

Heathfield Rawson-Harris 22/9/1946 - 2/4/2022

Krissy and Heath Harris

I am devastated and beyond sad to lose the love of my life, my best friend and the most wonderful husband of 34 years.

I am so blessed that Heath has left an amazing legacy in Stonewall Equestrian. Heath was the creator, the visionary and one of the hardest workers who contributed to make Stonewall the most beautifully ambient boutique showground. His creative magic is evident in every part of Stonewall from the arenas to the rock walls and the lakes and meandering fences and roads.

I will endeavour to follow his directions and dreams to see it to completion.

The Stonewall Autumn Carnival 21st to 24th of April will be run in his memory and we would be honoured with your attendance.

Krissy Harris

Stonewall Equestrian is the lasting legacy of much loved visionary Heath Harris.

Heath Harris was a legend in the horse world and particularly in the field of training horses for work in film and TV with iconic Australian movies Phar Lap and The Man From Snowy River owing much of their magic to the brilliance of Harris, who will be missed by all.
