First Runner a Winner for Saxon Warrior

With his oldest Australian progeny set to race here next season, young Coolmore shuttler Saxon Warrior (Jpn) is on the board with his first winner in France from his first runner.

Two year-old colt Ser Sed powered to the line to win by three-quarters of a length when winning the 5 1/2-furlong Prix Mercier at Le Lion d'Angers.

Trained by Joel Boisnard and bred by Gestut Ammerland, Ser Sed is the first winner for Lady Livonia, a sibling by Frankel to Champion 3YO and sire Lope de Vega, Group III winner Lady Frankel and stakes-winner Bal de La Rose, the dam of Group I winner Danceteria.
