Waller announced last week that the Flemington 2000m set weights and penalties event would be the six-year-old superstar's lead-up run to her shot at a third straight Cox Plate and he says everything is in order.

"Winx has arrived safely in Melbourne and will have a quiet few days to settle back into familiar surroundings," Waller said in a statement.

"I have been very happy with her work over the past week which included a gallop on Saturday and again on Tuesday morning prior to leaving the Rosehill stable.

"I am extremely pleased with where her fitness levels are at."

Waller said Winx would have her next major piece of work early next week ahead of her first race at Flemington.

Winx will carry 57kg under the conditions of the $500,000 Flemington feature.
