Tara Madgwick - Sunday March 27

A Group I winning 2YO by Scat Daddy, Sioux Nation (USA) shuttled to Swettenham Stud for one season in 2019 and his first runner in the Northern Hemisphere is also his first winner with Ocean Quest successful at The Curragh on Saturday.

The first 2YO race of the year in Ireland attracted a field of 10 with the Jessica Harrington trained Ocean Quest taking the five furlong dash by a head.

“Ocean Quest had only been away once, but Shane (Foley) said she was very professional. I think she's a 6f filly,” said Jessica Harrington.

Ocean Quest is the second winner from Gold Zain, a half-sister by Aqlaam to Group winners Poetic Dream and Who Know’s.

Sioux Nation shuttlted to Swettenham Stud in 2019.

Sioux Nation has 38 yearlings in Australia from his on year at stud here and several have sold through sales here this year with his best result a colt from Firemaid that made $210,000 at Magic Millions for Widden Stud.
