Snitzel and Maurice Colts Make Collingrove Draft a Must Inspect

Fresh from Inglis Premier success where they sold 13 yearlings for $1.55million, Colllingrove Stud are now all systems go for Magic Millions Adelaide (March 15 and 16) with a big draft of 16 to be offered after withdrawals.

The draft features the progeny of a wide range of sires including champion sire Snitzel, Victorian  favourite Toronado (IRE) and exciting Japanese shuttler Maurice (Jpn), the sire of Victoria Derby and Australian Guineas winner Hitotsu.

Collingrove Stud are posting some impressive results from their first yearlings prepared in 2020.

Lot 36 Colt Mikki Isle (Jpn) x Ballet Blanc, by Redoute’s Choice

By a quality Group I winning son of Deep Impact and is the second foal of an unraced sibling to Group II placed Tchaikovsky and exciting 3YO filly Smirnova, who won her first three starts before finishing a very unlucky fourth at Moonee Valley earlier this month, so should really be undefeated.

From the family of Group II winner The Heavyweight and numerous stakes-winners and is bred on successful Deep Impact x Redoute’s Choice nick that has produced G1 winner Profondo and G3 winners Lunar Impact and Satono Arthur.

By Divine Prophet, sire of two Group winning juveniles this season in Promitto and See You in Heaven. Second foal of a placed half-sister to the dam of stakes-winner Spring Choice, who is by Divine Prophet’s sire Choisir.

Fourth dam is legendary blue hen Korveya, dam of G1 winners Bosra Sham, Hector Protector and Shanghai.

The only Snitzel colt in the sale and is the first foal of a winning full sister to G1 Caulfield Cup winner Admire Rakti (Jpn), an outstanding Japanese stayer with multiple Group wins. Dam is also a sibling to G2 winner Admire Justa and stakes-winner Satono Jupiter.

By a revered champion sire that has already had 14 stakes-winners this season!

Second foal of G3 placed grand-daughter of G2 winner Umaline from the family of G1 ATC Epsom Handicap winner Captain Sonador.

One of only two yearlings in this sale by Maurice, the sire of dual G1 winner Hitotsu and progressive sprinter Mazu, both bred from Danehill line mares as is this colt.
