Unraced Trial Report Unearths Perth MM Hidden Gems

Breednet - Friday February 18

The Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale kicks off next Tuesday and there’s plenty of lots with siblings showing talent at the trials which haven’t yet been to the races.

It’s a useful part of the puzzle when doing homework for sales and not always so easy to do but it is data Breednet is now compiling.

You can see the Perth Yearling Sale Unraced Triallers Report here.

Below are a few highlights.

Lot 76 - Nicconi filly from Amelia's Love has an unraced sibling on the up!

Jamaican Rumba is a half-brother by Shalaa to Lot 76 – Nicconi x Amelia’s Love in the Amelia Park Racing and Breeding draft.

The mare has one to the races for a winner and looking in a good position to go two from two.

Jamaican Rumba was a $260,000 purchase for Edmonds Racing and Kestrel Thoroughbreds and now had two trials for the Toby and Trent Edmonds stable for a second and this win at the Gold Coast on February 14.

Devine Belief has had two trials for two wins this season as a juvenile, including this one at Lark Hill on December 31.

By Playing God out of Alchemic, she is a full-sister to Lot 251 in the Willaview Park draft. The mare is an 11 time winner and so far left three winners.

Rockport Miss is a 3yo filly by Ouqba (GB) out of Latent Energy, the first foal of the mare, and seen here winning at Lark Hill on Jan 10.

She is a half-sister to Lot 322 in the Gold Front Thoroughbred and Breeding draft, a colt and the second foal by the considerably more successful Universal Ruler who so far has nine stakes winners to his name.
