Karaka Catalogues Stacked with Stellar Sires

Media Release - Thursday February 17

For the very top echelon of sires, the mere mention of their name immediately brings to mind a long list of progeny and their outstanding racetrack performances. Buyers flock to Karaka every year, both virtually and physically, to secure sons and daughters of these stellar stallions and Karaka 2022 promises to be no different.

The Book 1 and Book 2 catalogues shine a spotlight on dozens of top-class sires, and in some cases, Karaka 2022 represents a precious final opportunity for buyers to access their yearling progeny.

It starts with All Too Hard and ends with Zoustar - click here to see what Karaka has to offer.

ZOUSTAR

Zoustar has five entries for Karaka 2022.

Himself a multiple Group One winner on the track, Zoustar has become one of the big runs among Australian stallion ranks with 281 winners from 408 runners to date. He has already sired 26 winners at black-type level, headed by Group One winners Sunlight and Zoutori.

Five Zoustar yearlings are catalogued for Karaka 2022, including Lot 325, out of a Group Two-placed mare from the outstanding family of Valpolicella (NZ) (Red Ransom) and her four stakes-performing progeny, along with more than a dozen other close relatives who have won at black-type level.
