Joe Pride’s tough stayer Destiny’s Kiss is the sole locally-bred galloper with five hailing from the Shaky Iles and the other six acceptors behind European-bred stayers.

Sydney's premier trainer Chris Waller has four runners – Libran, Who Shot Thebarman, Antonio Giuseppe and Life Less Ordinary while Victoria’s top trainer Darren Weir has two starters – Big Duke and Loresho.

Two-time Melbourne Cup winning trainer Robert Hickmott also has a pair of acceptances – Amralah and Foundry.
