Smart Missile colt Fastest at MM Gold Coast Breeze Ups

Media Release - Monday September 25
A colt by Smart Missile was the fastest during a successful breeze up session at the Gold Coast today.

The colt, catalogued as Lot 58, clocked 10.42 seconds for his timed 200 metre sectional in a performance that impressed the team from Kenmore Lodge.

The Smart Missile youngster (pictured) was one of five to break 10.5 seconds during the day with two-year-olds by Star Witness, Love Conquers All, Rothesay and Nicconi joining him under 10.5.

The times were impressive considering the warm weather produced a stiff northerly breeze in which the runners faced head on for their timed breeze.

The attention now turns to Sydney where Warwick Farm will host the New South Wales session of breeze ups from 9am (NSW time) tomorrow. The session will again be streamed live via the Magic Millions website.

A final breeze up session will be held at the Gold Coast Turf Club on the eve of the Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale on October 9. The sale will be held on October 10 and 11.

Meanwhile, entries close on Wednesday for the Spring Racehorse Sale to be held following the second day of the 2YOs in Training Sale on October 11. For more information contact the Bloodstock Department of Magic Millions on (07) 5504 120
